Visiting the extinguished Vulcano at Lake Balaton
This spring I visited Hungary for some birdphotography at Lake Balaton, but I also found out that there is an extinguished vulcano nearby and Stefan and I decided to visit it. We were able to take a lot of bird pictures and also some interesting landscape pictures, but we were a bit dissapointed since the bird we saw there were the same species that I also find at the Inn River in Upper Austria. But One spot that was very interesting was this Vulcano the "Hegyestű Geológiai Bemutatóhely".
Because the vulcano probably exploded thousands of years ago there is still only parts of the vulcano left.
