Testing my new fireplace
Now in my house where I live I have a nice fireplace where I can start a fire for heating up the kitchen and living room. Today I started a fire to test the fireplace for the first time. No in summer I will probably only use it during very cold days but I am looking forward to winter when it is cold outside and when I can make a fire to heat up my living room. It will get very cosy then and since I didn't have it for years now I am looking forward to it with great anticipation.
The best time will be in autumn and winter when it is cold outside and when I come home from work and start a fire to get warm again quick. And one of the best things of my new fireplace is that I can also cook on top of it. So if the Power fails I still can heat my home and also cook if necessary.
