Fire, Fire Burn
It is always very nice to watch the logs burning in the stove and since it has a glass front it is very nice to watch. Sometime even better than Television. :-)
Getting controll of the fire and being able to create a fire whenever we want was one of the most important parts of human history. Only because of the fire we were able to populate also the colder parts of the world, melt metals and preparing cooked food. This is why probably the fire still creates so much comfort and fascination for us humans eventhough today it is pretty easy to create a fire for us. Matches, lighters and fire steel make it really easy to create fire comapred to the methods that needed to be used in the past.
I love sitting at the tiled stove and enjoy the warmth that comes from the fire, it is something completely different from the warmth of an radiator and since I grew up in a house where we had a tiled stove and I often was in charge of making the fire I really learned to enjoy and appreciate the heat of the fire.
