Eurasian Wren - tiny beauty
The Eurasian Wren is one of the smallest birds in Europe. Two weeks ago I was able to take several pictures of this cute little bird. It was sitting on a fence on a house near the Inn River and it really had a pretty loud sound. I took several pictures and was pretty happy about this because this is one of the first times I was able to photograph it. When I found it was jumping around on a fence which is pretty funny because in German the name of this bird is "Zaunkönig" which means "king of the fence" if you translate the two words that the German word consists of.

One of the most striking features of the Eurasian Wren are the tail feathers that this birds can set up in this special way. It looks a bit funny, but you will immediately notice that you are dealing with a "Wren" here. Although it is one of the smallest birds it has a pretty nice and loud song, and it is really a pleasure listening to it. When I saw it I took several pictures of it with my Camera on "Burst" Mode. It was only here for a very short time but still I was able to get several pictures of it.
