Eurasian wren
On a birdphotography trip to the Inn River in spring last year I was able to take several pictures of the eurasian wren. It was funny because it was sitting on a fence and this bird is called "Zaunkönig" in German, that translates to "king of the fence". It is one of the smaller birds here in Austria and has quite a camouflage colore with its brown feathers. It was sitting at the fence and jumped around a little bit before it flew away. I am happy that I was able to take these pictures since it was the first time that I saw this little feathered friend, eventhough it is a quite popular bird here.
