Curlews are one of my favorite birds and I am always happy when I see them. The can appear in big flocks when migrating an this is the best time to take some pictures of them during the winter I have seen them at the Inn river and in late spring early summer at Lake Neusiedler in big flocks. In flight they are not so easy to photograph and often they don't even fly nearby but when they do I try to take as much pictures as possible with burst mode of my camera.
