Lawn chairs tragically fallen.
Some things really matter. Some things don't have any more meaning than that which we ascribe to them. January 6th is only important because liberals are allotting great importance to it. Only remains culturally relevant because they are desperately trying to make sure it stays alive in the public mind for political purposes.
In truth, there weren't that many people there in the first place, the bulk of them didn't storm the capitol, it was quelled almost immediately at minimal cost and, most importantly, pretty much every significant political leader on both sides including President Trump condemned it. It was an absolute flash in the pan. Certainly not a harbinger for the rise of right-wing militant radicalism. Heck, most actual right-wing militant radicals not only distance themselves from it, but blame ANTIFA or something for orchestrating the whole thing. Which is insane but, the point is, even THEY don't want anything to do with it.
Stop pretending this matters.
