Work, Fire, BIG ASS LARVA: March 28 2020
Yesterday had me actually leave the farm for a bit to take care of some work for my doctor friend. It was extremely good to get out of the house and have a conversation with someone NOT 3 or 6 years old. That took me a couple hours then I was home around 12:30. I spent th afternoon working in the garden and getting debris raked up and cleaning up areas for tilling.
I got another fire going and one of the rounds of wood that I had left sit over winter had a bunch of giant longhorned beetle larva in it. Super weird ass things and just creepy. They move around and flex and shrink and expand. I am going ot try and keep them until they turn to beetles. I am super curious about hte process. No clue how long it will take though.
