Little man’s 3rd birthday yesterday. We did not do much during the day other than he got to watch his favorite cartoons most of the time. With it being as cold as it is he has been spending more time inside than out and yesterday was no exception. @stryeyz stopped on the way home from work and got his cake and a couple of gifts. His Lego collection is expanding nicely and the boys will have a bunch more to play with this weekend.

I got a call regarding the valuation for my truck....

HOLY SHIT

I had been expecting a pretty low value but it appears that the insurance companies are now giving the replacement value for vehicles, not just the KBB value. This is an incredible thing and with my plans to get my Subaru and fix up my old Yota I am going to have a shit ton of leeway in when and what I get for my next new truck. I am seeing a REALLY nice looking Taco for sale in town that is decked out with brush guard, light bars, and other cool accessories, but I don’t want a car payment now and am not really excited about the $28k price tag. I am going to end up looking more in the $20k range in hopes of a much lower monthly payment, (when the time comes).

I got my old stereo swapped out with the original head unit and now just need to pull a couple of items from the wreck before it is hauled off, hopefully today. I don’t like seeing the thing in this state everyday in our yard. It will be nice for it to go.

Today I am going to the veteran’s assembly at the school at 10am where the kids are going to be singing. I get my mushroom plugs today in the mail which will get tossed in the fridge for a while until after the 19th when the logs are ready. I also need to get a massage/phys therapy appointment setup to checkout my soreness and pain from the accident.
