Hello 3speak and CTPtalk, this is Erik Gustafsson, @flaxz on Steem, 3speak and CTPtalk, and in this video I talk about #SteemWallet, this is a dApp on the steem blockchain that allows you to use Steem Keychain on your mobile devices.

Just 2 days ago SteemConnect was not working for quite a long time, and they are a centralized service so if there is some problem with their servers or API's then it's down for everyone.

Steem Keychain on the other hand is fully decentralized and it works as long as you have the dApp installed and configured, and you got an internet connection, plus the blockchain needs to be up.

SteemWallet A Mobile dApp

So this is where SteemWallet comes in, just search for it on Google Play, and I think it's on the App Store too, and it has been developed by @roelandp.

Now this dApp has a built in browser and built in Steem Keychain that works with that browser, and you handle it just like you would the Steem Keychain extention for your desktop/laptop browser, with storing the keys and setting an application password and so on.

Then you use the built in browser to go to the dApps that you want to use and use Steem Keychain to authorize and transact with.

Just do note that the built in browser is a bit limited, I have found there is no swipe down to reload the page, and that there is no support for multiple tabs, but it's a great solution if SteemConnect is down and you need to use a dApp that does not allow you to use your Private Posting key.

Check it out and see what you think about it, and even if not at least you know it exists and that it can come in handy if you need it.

This is my own personal opinion, do your own research before investing, and seek legal counsel if uncertain.
