For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Matthew5:46-47

It's is expected of us that we love everyone, irrespective of their background, belief or social status. It's common to love only those that agree with us. It's easy to flow with people that think like us, but it's a glorious thing to love and interact outside the box.

Brethren, loving people doesn't mean we should behave like them or like what they do or love.

To love is different from unequal yoke. It's expedient that we know that our love wins people but being yoke together with them makes them win us. Thus we should go the extra mile and love so that we can win the world for Christ.

Today, Jesus admonishes us to be different from the ordinary people. We need to grow above the level of forming cliques or cycles of acquaintance.

Let us care for people that don't care about us, for this is the way of Christ. By this shall the world know that we are Christ's.

Let's pray. Father thank you for the privilege to be different for you. We lay aside every selfish and self-centered spirit as we move to a higher realm of your love, in Jesus name. Amen. I love you.
