WHY MEN CHEAT

I sat crying with mum
Wondering why dad did it
Mum was the perfect woman
So a quest i incurred

See i discovered
Men are blessed with strong sights
Sweet tongue
But a confused emotion

Every man wants certain things
Which some may not want to own
Even though they want
They may not want to keep

Dad married the love of his life
Mum was everything his heart wanted
But dad failed to
Synchronise what his heart and eyes wanted

Mind you
No woman has it all
Some are curvacious while others are bursty
Some are brainy while others are naughty

Dad knew that
In his vows he said
Mum may not be perfect
But she was perfect for him

Those little flaws of hers awed him
The way her eyes mis aligned
Or the fact she seemed not to understand sarcasm
Or the funny way she stands

Well only for a while
Until her eyes began to annoy him
And her lack of understanding sarcasm irritated him
Or the way she stood pissed him off

See dad refused to see the big picture
He forgot its easy to fall in love
But takes discipline to stay in love
He just forgot

I saw the way he looked at aunt rosy
And the way he stared at monica
I knew one day he would loose it
Still when he did, i was surprised

Dad thought me all i knew
To seperate your heart from your head
Family first, family always
I guess he forgot too

Men are alike
Ok... most men
Well a few to be safe
They fall for temporal stuffs and fall out of love when its gone

You fall for her eyes
Her smile
Her face
And not for who she really is?

And when her eyes are gone
And her smile no more
Or her face wrinkles
Why won't you cheat?

But you know what's permanent
Who she is... it never fades
So i forgive dad
Because only myopic men cheat
