Se ha convertido en una tradición que cada mes hago un bosquejo, quizá llamarlo ilustración es demasiado pretencioso. Quedemonos con manualidad, creo que es algo más preciso con la tarea que realizó.

En fin, hago el dibujo con el propósito de despejar la mente pero que al terminar lo recorto con la forma de la funda del smartphone de mi esposa que es de silicón transparente y de ese modo parece que tiene una funda para su teléfono completamente diferente mes a mes, cuando lo que cambia es simplemente la ilustración que se expone.

Intento hacerlo antes de que comience el mes, para que puede cambiarlo y comenzar el mes con un nuevo estilo, aunque por ocupaciones tenía varios días de retraso la entrega de esta nueva edición decorativa para su smartphone.

It’s become a tradition for me to do a sketch every month—though calling it an “illustration” might be a bit pretentious. Let’s just call it a craft project; I think that’s a more accurate description of what I’ve done.

Anyway, I draw with the intention of clearing my mind, but when I’m done, I cut it out to fit the shape of my wife’s smartphone case—which is made of clear silicone—so it looks like she has a completely different phone case every month, when really the only thing that changes is the illustration on display.

I try to do this before the month begins, so she can switch it out and start the month with a new look, although due to other commitments, I was a few days late in delivering this new decorative edition for her smartphone.
