Philosophy is my Roman Empire; even though I technically didn’t finish my bachelor’s degree in philosophy (I dropped out in the 8th semester), the philosophical spirit is something that stays with me. It’s great when I meet people who are interested in philosophy. Although I haven’t written about philosophy here in a while, it’s something I plan to pick up again.
I don’t know if I can be considered a “phil-bro.” I’d have to check the criteria.
It’s absolutely true that the language of philosophy can be overwhelming, but that stems from the premise that philosophy seeks to complicate things in its effort to think through the obvious—the everyday.
Philosophy is amazing, and I think that, deep down, it allows us to retain our capacity for wonder.
Cheers!
