Yet most criticism I see in Brazil are regarding his choice of luxury purchases by him and his wife using the federal budget while also promoting higher and higher taxes to compensate the explosive deficit we are somehow experiencing in Brazil.
I might not understand politics as much as Lula, but I would be pretty embarrassed to be seen with anything that could look remotely expensive when campaigning for population to make sacrifices to balance the federal budget.
