Serenity on the Brule RIver

Last week I went camping in northern Wisconsin with a couple of friends.

As you can expect, the lush woods beyond the Brule River made for some heaven on earth.

Less expected: the serenity just north of here, where this river flows into Lake Superior.

Less expected still (though par for the course when I travel): an artistically-adorned home occupied by an old couple happy to oblige a photograph.

If I have my way, this won't be the last we see of Joe and Eldora. A new YouTube series about this eccentric American couple, perhaps? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
