Hola amigos de Hive ¿como están? El día de hoy les traigo un PASO a PASO de como dibujar a una chica jardinera y veremos como y por que se me ocurrió enseñar algo así.

Hi Hive friends, how are you? Today I bring you a step-by-step guide on how to draw a girl gardener. We will also see how and why I came up with the idea of teaching something like this.

Proceso creativo // Creative process

Una mañana en mi habitación despues de terminar todos mis Blogs, me detuve a pensar en unos nuevos, y yo ante la crisis creativa me sujete a comtinuar dibujando profesiones, se me vino a la mente una jardinera. En lo profundo de mi corazón pienso que la mujer es un regaló del cielo, por su belleza semejante a las flores y los arbustos. Por lo que quise juntar ambas cosas en una ilustración.

One morning in my room after finishing all my blogs, I stopped to think about new ones. In the face of creative crisis, I decided to continue drawing professions. I thought of a gardener. In the depths of my heart, I think that women are a gift from heaven, for their beauty similar to flowers and shrubs. So I wanted to combine both things in an illustration.

Paso a Paso // Step by step

Paso #1 Bocetar // Step #1 Sketch

Como SIEMPRE me enfoco en ubicar los cuerpos en el espacio trazando formas básicas, osea, para hacer la cintura de la mujer hice una caja y para su cabeza también.

As always, I focus on placing the bodies in space by tracing basic shapes. For example, to make the woman's waist, I made a box and for her head, I also made a box.

Paso #2 Agregar la ropa, los objetos y el cuerpo. // Step #2 Add clothes, objects, and body

En base a las cajas y demas formas que describi en el parrafo anterior, comienzo a completar el cuerpo al agregarle brazos, darle forma al rostro, etc. Le dibujo la ropa, sus guantes y todo lo demas.

Based on the boxes and other shapes I described in the previous paragraph, I begin to complete the body by adding arms, shaping the face, etc. I draw the clothes, her gloves, and everything else.

Paso #3 Repasar con Bolígrafo. // Step #3 Outline with pen

Valga la redudancia, repaso con bolígrafo las linas que me gusten.

I go over the lines I like with a pen.

Paso #4 Darle VIDA // Step #4 Give it life

En este paso me enfoco en darle color al dibujo, en ubicar las sombras y las zonas con luz. En decidir que quiero que el espectador se enfonque y que no.

De seguro se preguntan: ¿por que su piel es verde?. Ante esa pregunta les digo: Por que las plantas son verdes, y quiero que asocien a la chica con la naturaleza. Y también para variar.

In this step, I focus on adding color to the drawing, placing the shadows and the areas with light. I decide what I want the viewer to focus on and what not.

You are probably wondering: why is her skin green? To answer that question, I say: because plants are green, and I want to associate the girl with nature. Also, to change things up.
