AFRI-TUNES WEEK 105 // KAUNA ALLAH (GOD'S LOVE) ORIGINAL @fasacity
Special thanks to all the management of this prestigious community for their efforts in ensuring its sustainability. It has been an amazing week in and week out.
I'm not too good at singing and playing musical instruments but I must confess that this platform has really helped in inspiring me and making me feel home to explore some of my untapped potential. During my secondary school days I bought an eighty leaves where I started writing some few songs that I composed though not properly refined because there was no phone or means to record them more than 25years ago.
This particular song came due to the present economic pressure that has ravaged everywhere in my country. This act has opened up the nation to lots of evil in the name of finding financial solace. The only thing that can sustain one is the love of God. If not because of God's love where would I have been today? If not because of this love I would have become a history by now. This love showed me mercy, joy, kindness that I could even sing against all odds.
The song is a mixture of Hausa and English. The chorus is simple and talks about God's love has no boundaries and is the only binding force we have. I was so excited writing this song and I have not mastered the progression yet on guitar however I hope you will enjoy it and I await your great comments.
Lyrics
For God so loved the world
That He gave His only son,
Whosoever believes in Him
Should not perish.
For God so loved the world
That He gave His only son,
Whosoever believes in Him
Should not perish.
Chorus;
A Yee kaunar Allah
Itache Buba
Kaunar Allah
Kaunar, ta ha da mu.
Thanks for reading and watching through.
