INTRODUCTING~~GIANNA JADE

Greetings to all, you super, silly, sassy, saucy, sophistacated #silverbloggers from around the globe.

Meet our new granddaughter Gianna Jade.

Born on February 15, 2024, this little one was three weeks early. Go figure. We planned our winter holiday around her original due date March 11, 2024, so we could be there when she burst into the world. Nature has a way of reminding us that things change, like the wind and we have no control whatsoever, nature always holds the trump card no matter how well we plan.

We never planned for my daughter and her husband to test positive for covid, but looking at the big picture, they are both healthcare workers, exposed much more than the average person, but because of that they have built up great immune systems, they never got sick, it was a complete surprise to us all.

Gianna's mommy and daddy had to wait two days before they could even hold her. Good news, baby G probably has immunity from covid already.

Weighing in at 6lbs 6oz and a whopping 18 inches long, this little peanut is so perfect, healthy and loved from the moment she was born into this glorious world.

Life is a gift; we should never take it for granted. I thank heaven every day for the blessing's life has given me.

Our girl is thriving and celebrated her first Easter Sunday.

I am so grateful for all the communities in #hive, I enjoy documenting parts of my life for future generations to be able to read about their "grammy" and know how much love and joy I felt by having them in my life in my silver years.
