Folding for Science and earning Banano while doing it

So if you like me you have been interested in mining but nervous about how to get into it. I came across a noise.cash post about folding for science using your computer and thought I would see how hard it was to set up.

Well it took 5 minutes and maybe 3 steps ? Surprised at how easy it was! So far i have mined 10 Banano on a crap old laptop so I am pretty happy. Also my laptop has not burned down so thats a bonus. To date I have helped with COVID-19 and also contributed to helping fight a small microscope paraistate in Africa.

So how did I do it?

Step one - Set up a Banano wallet, i like https://kalium.banano.cc/ because it was easy to set up and the monkey is cute. Go to the receive button to get your address

Step two - Go to https://bananominer.com/ and enter your address. You will get you user id and team code, keep these somewhere safe

Step three - Go to https://foldingathome.org/#downloads and download the app. It will open in a web page. Here is where you enter your id and team code from above.

Choose what you want to help with

Choose how hard you want to run your computer, i did max and had no problems but if it sounds like a chopper is taking off maybe turn it down.

Thats it, your done! You can close the web page but you need to complete a project to get that sweet banano, so wait until it finishes before stop folding.
