Details

@wearecodex created a task request because there is need of parts to create a new section in the Avatar generator: The orca. Attending to this request I created 3 designs with the themes of: Baker, Chemist and Musician. Each one has specific colors, tools and accessories that make them unique and recognizable.

Benefits

This designs are provided in parts so they can be combined in the Avatar generator to create a lot of new Orca styles. This have been tested to make sure they fit perfectly with the base and even with the designs provided by other designers.

Proof of authorship

I started sketching over the base design using adobe photoshop to add the details very roughly.

A few details from the sketches were changed when making the final designs to fit or look better. It was necessary to use the PSD base file and click in the smart objects.

By opening each smart object in Illustrator I could modify as I wanted to make it how I wanted it to look:

Then I just saved the AI file and automatically was updated in the PSD smart object layer.

Tools

As mentioned above I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS6. Those are recommended to open and edit the files.
