AFRI-TUNES WEEK 106 - DANCE LIKE A WINNER // LILIAN NNEJI (Cover) by @fab-tay
Happy new week everyone community, I'm
and I'm glad to welcome us all to this Afri-tunes week 106 which is another time to enjoy music of African origin and I'm honoured to share music with great people here. Afritunes community has been known for bringing African Music to the frontline/limelight and this is highly commendable and i say kudos to the @Afri-tunes team.
For this afri-tunes week 106, i will be doing the cover of one of my favorite song which is "DANCE LIKE A WINNER" by LILLIAN NNEJI. This song is one of the songs that helps us give expression to our grateful heart and to express our thanksgiving. Thanksgiving or appreciation to God can be expressed in several ways including singing, dancing, clapping, bowing, jumping etc. It's not enough to be grateful to God but also to give expression to it in the aforementioned ways.
I chose this song for this week 106 so as to encourage someone out there that as we go this week, we should express our gratitude to God by singing, dancing, declaring etc. No matter what the situation is, rejoice over it and dance like a winner because by doing so, you will definitely experience victory and breakthrough over it. We shouldn't just be grateful in our heart, but we should let it find expression because gratitude expressed is gratitude indeed. One of the beauty of African culture is expression of gratitude for a good deed and we must continue in this even as individuals, family, society, nation and continent. I particularly love this song because aside the vocal dexterity, melody, good rhythm which all are present, we can also dance to it and be full of joy even with this makosa beat🕺😀. I did this cover using both vocal🗣️ and the piano 🎹 instrumentation with the loop of the song gotten using moises app. Thank you all.
