(ENG-ESP) ✂️ NEEDLEWORK YOURJEANS. Recycling jeans fabric into a new visor for girls. ✂️Reciclando de tela jeans, en una nueva visera para niñas.
A big greetings to everyone in the community, hoping you have a great time, in this new week with many blessings. I want to make my presentation in the contest, NEEDLEWORK YOURJEANS, thinking what I wanted to do to be able to show and well, I made a visor, means the front of a cap, to protect from the sun, in the face, so, with scraps of jean that I had I decided to make one for my daughter, decorating it with some details of ribbon, to make it look more flirtatious.
It is something very easy to do, the truth is nothing complicated, and can also be done with other types of fabric, just look for the ones you like, so I start the steps in every detail of this project.
** My materials:**
Pieces of jean fabric.
Pink fabric.
Threads, needles, pins, tape measure.
Pattern to size.
Magic zipper, and embellishments.
Sewing machine.
The cap or visor part I made from another for size, and the other part is a long strip that is placed for its base.
I cut two parts in jean fabric, and on the inside I cut another part of a hard fabric to give it more support, or stability.
I started sewing it by placing the white fabric on the inside first and sewed it over the jean fabric.
Then with the pink fabric I cut a long strip two centimeters wide, and placed it all around the edge.
Then I place the other part of the jean fabric and sew it all the way around, and then flip it over, and do the over sewing.
Then with the long strip that I took out of the jean fabric, even if I tie it in several parts, the whole strip is 3cm wide.
I sew it around the base of the visor, then I make some small cuts in this part so that when I sew it, it will have the desired shape.
Now I press the whole strip with the pins to be able to sew it all around the edge.
Having this part ready, with the magic clasp I place it and sew on each side.
To finish off, I had a ribbon with an ornament, which was a loop from a hair clip, but since its hook broke, I used it for this visor, to give it that different touch.
I also put a pink satin ribbon on the edge, I glued it with hot silicone.
Now that all the ornaments have been glued on, this beautiful jean fabric project is finished, and my daughter is delighted and enjoying her beautiful visor, already playing, very flirtatious.
The wonders that we can do with jean fabrics, all their remnants, are endless, it's just a matter of imagination and thus be able to continue giving another use to those old jeans that we no longer use and that are lying there.

Un gran saludos para todos en la comunidad, esperando la pasen muy bien, en esta nueva semana con muchas bendiciones. Quiero hacer mi presentación en el concurso, NEEDLEWORK YOURJEANS, pensando lo que quería hacer para poder mostrar y bueno, hice una visera, significa la parte delantera de una gorra, para protegerse del sol, en la cara, así, que con retazos de jean que tenia decidí hacer una para mi hija, decorándola con algunos detalles de cinta, para que se vea mas coqueta.
Es algo muy fácil de hacer, la verdad no es nada complicado, y de igual manera se puede hacer con otros tipos de tela, solamente buscamos las que mas nos guste, así que empiezo los pasos en cada detalle de este proyecto.
Mis materiales:
Retazos de tela de jean.
Tela rosada.
Hilos, agujas, alfileres, cinta métrica.
Patrón a la medida.
Cierre mágico, y adornos.
Maquina de coser.
La parte de la gorra o visera la hice de otra para su medida, y la otra parte es una tira larga que se coloca para su base.
Corte dos partes en tela de jean, y por dentro corte otra parte de una tela dura para que le de mas soporte, o estabilidad.
Comencé cosiéndola colocando primera la tela blanca por dentro y cosí esta sobre la tela de jean.
Luego con la tela rosada corte una tira larga de dos centímetros de ancho, y se la coloque por todo alrededor de su orilla.
Luego coloco la otra parte de la tela de jean y voy cosiéndola toda, para luego voltear, y hacer su sobre costura.
Luego con la tira larga que saque de la tela de jean aunque la empate, en varias partes, todo la tira es de 3cm de ancho.
La voy cosiendo alrededor de la base de la visera, luego hago unos pequeños cortes en esta parte para que cuando cosa, tenga su forma deseada.
Ahora voy prensado toda esta tira con los alfileres para poder coserla en toda su orilla.
Teniendo esta parte lista, con el cierre mágico lo coloco y coso en cada lado.
Para ir culminando, tenia una cinta con un adorno, que era un lazo de un gancho para el cabello, pero como su gancho se rompió, lo usé para esta visera, así darle ese toque distinto.
También le coloque una cinta rosada de raso, en el borde, esta se la pegue con el silicón caliente.
Ya teniendo todos sus adornos pegados, culmino este bello proyecto de tela de jean, y mi hija encantada y disfrutando su bella visera, ya jugando, muy coqueta.
Las maravillas que podemos hacer con las telas de jean, todos sus retazos, son infinitas, solo es cuestión de mucha imaginación y así poder seguir dándole otra utilidad, a esos jeans, viejos que ya no usamos y que están ahí tirados.
