My First Whale Up Vote

What is a whale upvote?

Rescently I returned to steem platforms only to find some major changes. For the first week I did some self upvoting and decided against it.

My first week of no self upvoting I got a nice $9 upvote from a whale. That was really exciting and even more so when I finally got to claim the reward.

The whole idea of this post is to find out from fellow steemians what their first upvote from a whale was like and how you spent or used the reward.

My reward was 11+ steem and 11+ steem power. So I took the 11+ steem and purchased a 90 day steem power package to help increase the value of my curation rewards in order to grow.
