I welcome everyone to another edition of the Newbies Initiative Task. This is week 6, and this initiative has been very helpful to me. I've learned many things about Hive, including what to do and how to use some essential tools. This week's topic is Hive tools and their usefulness.

Explain why it is important for you to track and monitor your progress on Hive.

Why do I need to monitor my progress on Hive

I need to track my progress on Hive to see how well I'm doing. If I see that my efforts are not producing the desired results, I should put in more effort because I know what I want. Unless I don't have a better plan for Hive, if I do, I need to set a goal for myself because tracking my progress will help me stay motivated. It also shows where I am lagging and how I can improve myself on Hive.

This is my account on Hive Buzz, and my marine Character represents MINNOW This shows my achievement and how I am progressing on Hive, it is a stage and also moving from one phase to another to accomplish another achievement, this achievement depends on much effort/ activity you put on hive and also depends on the amount of your Hive power (HP).

CURATION REWARD means the reward I have learned from curating and engaging on other users' posts on the Blockchain for the last seven days, it shows what I have been gaining for the past days and this is very low which I need to work on and put more effort in engaging with other users on the platform.

AUTHORS REWARD means the reward I have earned through my post for the past seven days.

My overall HP -- 621.99HP
The effective HP -- 269.58HP
My Delegated HP -- 352.41HP

DELEGATION means I delegated some of my Hive power to some community or other users in other to help and also get a reward for it.

THE EFFECTIVE HP means the HP that I am using apart from the ones I delegated to others.

Find the lazy-panda curation trail and follow it. Customise the trail according to weight, method, and wait time as desired. Then, enable the trail if you really want to be a part of it. Show screenshots.

How To Follow Curation Trail

Firstly I log into the Hive vote website with my username on the Hive

Then click on the curation trail and search for lazy-panda

I followed the curation trail by clicking on the following button before setting the percentage of votes and the time interval for my vote.

I set my voting weight to be 50% and the time interval to be two minutes after lazy-panda vote

Steps on how to monitor other users' accounts on hive

Firstly I clicked on the link sent to the newbies initiative platform by Olujay in other to have access to the Discord channel

Then I proceeded by registering the account I want to monitor because I am already a member on the discord channel

So I clicked on the direct message to register the account I wish to monitor and that is as simple as that
