Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Расскажу о самом запомнившемся дожде этого лета.	Let me tell you about the most memorable rain of this summer.
Дело было 19 июля, мы с подругой плыли в круизе из Питера. Для одной из самых интересных остановок - на острове Кижи – у нас по программе было всего 2 часа. И именно в это время лил сильный дождь, сопровождавшийся ветром.	It was July 19, my friend and I were on a cruise from St. Petersburg. For one of the most interesting stops - on the island of Kizhi - we had only 2 hours according to the program. And it was at this time that a heavy rain was pouring, accompanied by a wind.
Вот такой сумрачный вид на остров нас ожидал утром.	Such a gloomy view of the island awaited us in the morning.

Но дождь не мог остановить жаждущих впечатлений туристов. Группы с корабля отправились на экскурсии.	But the rain couldn't stop the eager tourists. Groups from the ship went on excursions.
Самые предусмотрительные не только взяли зонтики, но и завернулись в целлофановые плащи. Ведь, от косого дождя при ветре, зонтик не очень хорошо помогает.	The most prudent not only took umbrellas, but also wrapped themselves in cellophane raincoats. After all, from slanting rain in the wind, an umbrella does not help very well.
Разноцветные зонтики и плащи раскрасили серый пейзаж.	Colorful umbrellas and raincoats painted the gray landscape.

В какие-то моменты мы заходили внутрь удивительных деревянных домов и церквей. Там можно было немного передохнуть от постоянного дождя.

At some moments we went inside amazing wooden houses and churches. There you could take a break from the constant rain.

Иногда небо, казалось, проясняется. Но нет, всё наше пребывание дождь шёл, не останавливаясь. Мы с подругой были и в плащах и с зонтами. Нас больше, чем дождь, расстраивало слишком маленькое время на осмотр этого прекрасного острова-музея.

Sometimes the sky seemed to clear up. But no, all our stay it rained non-stop. My friend and I were wearing raincoats and umbrellas. More than the rain, we were frustrated by too little time to explore this beautiful museum island.

2 часа пролетели, и вот мы уже сидим в сухой каюте и смотрим на отдаляющийся остров Кижи.

2 hours flew by, and now we are sitting in a dry cabin and looking at the distant island of Kizhi.

Дождь продолжал идти над Онежским озером, создавая серую гамму, совсем не характерную для июльского полудня.

The rain continued to fall over Lake Onega, creating a gray scale, not at all characteristic of a July afternoon.
