Hola amigos!

Hermosa plantilla para esta semana, se parece mucho a alguna de las playas que tenemos en el Edo. Sucre, Venezuela y me hizo recordar un poema escrito por uno de nuestros poetas, "Cruz Salmerón Acosta", quien en su tiempo de enfermedad lo escribió inspirado en la vista que tenía desde su ventana. Hoy lo comparto con ustedes para así convertir este post en un collage de imágenes y poesía.

Beautiful template for this week, it looks a lot like one of the beaches we have in Sucre State, Venezuela and it made me remember a poem written by one of our poets, "Cruz Salmerón Acosta", who in his time of illness wrote it inspired by the view he had from his window. Today I share it with you to turn it into a collage of images and poetry.

Blue of that far away summit
towards which my thoughts fly
under the blue peace of the morning,
color that reveals so many things to me!

Blue that emanates from the blue of the sky,
and blue of this great sea that consoles me,
while I glimpse in it the vain illusion
of the vision of a sail's wing.

The blue of the landscapes of the open sea,
sad blue of my lyrical reveries,
that calms my intimate boredom.

You only distress me when I suffer from cravings
to kiss the blue of those eyes
that will never again contemplate mine.
