Showing Off Success Invites Predators!

Have you seen the pattern of how the successful people are also the people who get attacked for what they eat, sleep, spend money on? Like there are people who literally keep track on what they do and use that to run a trial on them which kind of shows they end up getting more predators who attack them and keep in mind of what they do.

Take example of all those bloggers who show off their earning reports. They usually have their comments section closed. They just tell the world how they are doing and how they are making money. This way they end up making the transparency but the people who read their content treat it negatively and treat it as a show off.

I have experienced this on the Hive too. I have a habit to ask questions to people who can help with investment. So I tend to ask people where to invest and how and what number of tokens are good to hold etc. However there are some of the negative people who may not like that and they can use that to attack your content on such type of the questions and progress report.

Why showing off success invites predators?

1. You tell the world about how much you earn, they would curse their own life for not able to reach that stage and they would kind of increase jealousy.
2. You tell the world that you became successful through this and that and they would bring obstacles into that path making your success process hard even further.
3. Predators want your success, your peace of mind, your money or your despair and bad days. So they tend to become easy obstacle if you show off.
4. Some people like to see you in misery and they would not want you to succeed and so they tend to hate if you are showing off success.
5. Predators tend to misguide you even more further and make life worst for you in the long run. It can even become difficult for your mental health.
6. Some people like it if you make mistakes and choose wrong things in the life. So they tend to push you even more forward towards those wrong choices as well.
7. Being more transparent about personal life, finance and what you like and dislike can be bad for the social media and internet in general.
8. Blockchain stores your data for long enough, so less you hold the personal data the better. Which kind of makes it easier for you to being less transparent as long as you share less.

Share less personal stuff. Share more generic stuff. This way there would be less data of yours that would be used by predators. That's one of the basic ways through which you can have better life on the internet and also on the blockchain.

If you choose to do showoff make sure to have it behind the locked and limited set of the people. This way you would invite less damage to your personal life.
