Encounter With Porcupine

Tonight, on a doggy walk with Puma around the block we met this little fellow. She (or he) was just crossing the asphalt path between the buildings and wading on the grass when I noticed her.

I am not an expert on porcupines yet this one seemed fairly young to me.

I tried to convince Puma to come closer. She didn't want too. Better so that to stick her nose into some needles.

Porcupines are common guests around our blocks.
