Happy Father's Day

It is not Father's Day everywhere in the world today and I am not even sure how many countries celebrate Father's Day but it is here in America and since I am American...Happy Father's Day.

Father's Day means a lot and something very different for everyone. For me, it is a celebration of life made, a life lived through and celebrating people that fill the role of a father. It is a strange day for many people as most do not know their father's, have two father's in some cases or have lost their father. So for some, this is a hard day to get through.

My heart goes out to those who this day is not a day of full celebration. I get a little overwhelmed on this day as the kids hit me with all sorts of random heartfelt kindnesses that they save up for to try and make me cry. I do normally, it makes it even more of a special day for me.

I do not know how many people I will miss, that I know on this platform, but I wanted to take a moment and wish the following people Happy Father's Day. Some due to new births, some due to loss, some for the struggles they face bonding with the smaller ones and one who has filled the role of mother and father before she was either.
