Afritunes Week 216 || Agam Esoro Ndi Mmo Ozi (A Cover)
The song I will be performing today is a simple Chorus with great message. It is first a gospel praise song, but beyond that, it is a song that tell of how everything around us attest the greatness of our God. He is indeed a mighty God, and it is evidenced in the things he has made.
"Agam Esoro Ndi Mmo Ozi"; that's the tittle of the song, and it simply mean "I will join the Angels". After declaring the need to join the Angels to praise the Lord, the went on to speak of how nature itself exalts the name of the Lord. Beginning with the sea, and then the leaves in the forest. It is indeed a beautiful song, and I am happy to share it with us today.
I have chosen simply because I cannot thank God enough. His mercies are unending, and his graces are new every morning. I am a living example of that, of the goodness of the Lord. Performing today, I appreciate God for the things he is doing in my life, and for how far he has brought me. Feel free to join me in this wonderful song of praise.
Feel free to check out the translated lyrics below if do not understand Igbo language. I remain , and I appreciate you for stopping by.
Lyrics
Agam esoro ndi mmo ozi na enye gi ekele
I will join the Angels to give you praise
Agam esoro ndi mmo ozi na aja aha gi mma
I will join the Angels to lift up your name
Ohimiri na eruhari na otito gi nna
The sea wave in thanksgiving to your name
Ahiha bi na ohia na efe ufe aka, na enyi gi ekele
The leaves in the bush wave in thanksgiving to your name
Umu Nmadu bi na uwa, na egbu ekpere na aja aha gi mma
Children of men bow in thanksgiving to your name
Ha na si, imela imela imela
Saying, thank you, thank you, thank
