Oh, gosh, this week was horrible. The coming three weeks, even more so. I just want to crumple into a corner and hide. I was unable to find the time to draw or even to write. My schedule has been extremely hectic.

My first-ever semester in graduate school is coming to an end soon, and all three courses I enrolled in have required projects and other deliverables here and there. Work has been crazy. Suddenly, there are so many things, problems, and other tasks to address. Moooom, I want to rest. ☹

While I had a lot of deliverables, I found the time to just go out with my friends. We chatted over coffee, and I was able to share with them how I go about my drawings. @debilog owned an iPad, though, and I was quite not sure how to paint using Procreate. I tried my best to teach them stuff. I just wished I made sense. She drew with another of our friends, Z, and posted it on Instagram. I think she'll tell the story of how that drawing came to be here on Hive soon.

Meanwhile, I wanted to try my hand at that eye drawing, too, so while watching the latest episode of Blue Lock on Netflix, I worked on this one.

It didn't make the cut. 😅 I think it's pretty hilarious that I curate what I post over there, too. But that's how it is now. I've become pretty strict on myself.

This is the reference of this drawing, by the way. According to Medibang timelapse, this took around 40 minutes of my time. It's been a while since I last drew on my phone, it's crazy! The screen suddenly felt significantly smaller.

I still have acads stuff to work on, anyway. 🙃 I'll try my best to get back on erangvee soon! I've been working on a new drawing, but it's taking me so long. :(
