Steepshot has just posted about an impending update that's coming soon.
Amongst the updates are some nice new features.

What is Steepshot

Steepshot is a photosharing app on the Steem blockchain, comparable to the likes of Instagram. It has native apps for iOs, Android and web and will allow you to quickly and easily share photomoments, and only show you photomoments of others. So it filters by content posted through Steepshot, which is great.

The Updates:

Image gallery + Slideshow

There's an image gallery, allowing you to upload more than one image at a time. (Which is funny since my buddy 'complained' about it yesterday that not being able to do that was rather annoying.

This apparently also means there's an added slideshow feature, which sounds awesome. Looking forward to seeing that in action.

Voteslider

Then there's an updated voting mechanism, introducing the much beloved voting slider, so you won't be forced to upvote with 100% (and thus not burn through your votingpower / bandwidth so fast).

Notifications

They also added push notifications, but I supposed those might only be related to steepshot.

I have a feeling more and more front-ends will start to only relate to their own front-end when showing and notifying. Unlike for instance busy.org & steemit.com which show ALL content. It would make sense. You wouldn't want youtube clips in instagram either and viceversa.
