uch ... life ... I can't believe it's been 11 days since my last post. And that when I had before decided to up my game with these posts. I just couldn't find the energy. I guess that happens.

In these Steemdevnews posts I try to shine some light on development going on and around the Steem blockchain. Here's a small pinch of what's been released or updated recently.

Steem Ruby

User Hive account@inertia is working on Steem Ruby as part of The Steemworks Team. The purpose is to give Ruby developers all methods to leverage all functionallity of appBase (the new backbone for steem allowing for modularisation and scalabilityof the Steem blockchain)

You should consider Steem Ruby if you need to:

• Use json-rpc-batch to get multiple blocks at once.
• Use multisig.
• Experiment with AppBase methods.
  
  

I just want to say that it's cool to see some familiar faces doing some official development for our beloved Blockchain.

dMania 1.0

Version 1.0 of dMania has been released. dMania is the memefocused front-end of the Steem blockchain.

After all the drama a lot of effort has been put into this release.

• Category menu is in fixed position and doesn't scroll with the content anymore
• Fixed cross browser UI bugs
• Revised breakpoints and layout for all devices
• Fixed upload bug
• Moved app images to code. Those images will load now on app startup without delay.
