Sunset Storm Approaching - Pano
As evening was approaching, a low rumbling sound could be heard in the distance. I was sitting in the sun room and didn't notice the sound at first. Then I stopped what I was doing and paused to listen. Was that thunder? Nah! There wasn't any rain forecasted to hit out area. So I dismissed it and carried on with the task at hand. Then my oldest son went outside to take the dog out and said, "Hey Mom, check out this thunderhead!"
So I went out and sure enough there was an impressive looking set of clouds off in the distance in what was an otherwise clear sky. The sun's setting rays gave the approaching storm a beautiful golden rose glow. And yes, that had been thunder I was hearing off in the distance.
Naturally, I had to capture the stunning image and contrast the current weather with what was approaching. Which is the pano you see in this image.
