entry smash 401: fun with composite shadows

normally one would expect two separate people to have two more or less separate and distinguishable shadows but when things line up just right their shadows combine into one, creating a fantastical figure that if viewed without (some or all) the people casting it would seem to have come from an extraordinary being.

as i am sure you can see i have used the basic AI editing tool on my camera to remove one of the people here to create the effect, not to be deceptive but to make it more obvious how the shadows of the two seamlessly merge into what theoretically could have come from a single imaginary figure.

the dangers of AI in photography are real as a more sophisticated editing could make it almost impossible to determine what is real and what is fake but my point here is that i like what the shadows of these two people create when they are aligned.
