entry smash 399: shadows on a bridge

here are some unabridged shadows. you see we were travelling in the mountains of western Norway, specifically in Viksdalen where the road follows the Gaula river. there are not many houses along the route through the mountains but there were a few spread out farms on the other side of the river from the road. at each farm there was a small bridge over the river. after passing a few such bridges we decided to stop and check out one.

here we are on the bridge looking back toward the road. presumably a light vehicle could cross but luckily there was no need to try as we were on foot. while crossing the bridge and standing above the river was cool it didn't take long before i noticed our shadows being cast down below.

here shadows of us and the bridge are cast on the crystal clear river water and riverbed underneath creating an image peculiar enough to be my entry to the contest
