Goals For The Year Review: Achievement So Far And Next Movex

Goal setting is one of the easiest and most reliable ways to track growth. It is mostly talked about and attempted, but it's very difficult to stick to.

For quite some time, I have been trying to build the culture of setting goals, and I will be frank, it has not really been easy because most times I set goals, but I don't commit to them.

One moment I am chasing my goals according to plan, and the next I have totally forgotten them.

My friend once said, “It's as if it's better off when we don't set goals because each time you state your goals, circumstances fight you and those goals.”

It sounds quite true, but I don't believe it. Good things don't come easy; if one can be disciplined enough, they can achieve their goals, but it won't be easy.

I started this year with several expectations. I had goals set out in different areas of my life, but I would like to focus more on the ones I set for Hive Blockchain for this prompt.

One of my biggest desires this year was to grow my account back to 1000 hive power before the year runs out, although I was not open about my target publicly.

I also wanted to commit to powering 5 hives monthly and to explore more communities and make more followers, at least ten before the year runs out.

But honestly, none of these goals were achieved. The annoying part is that my account is still on power down.

My dream of growing the account to 1000 HP this year looks impossible. It is not something I am happy to talk about, but it is well. I believe I will overcome this phase with time.

For building and growing my followers, I have been able to make a few friends, and I hope to make more.

I was able to explore a few communities, and I hope to explore more with time.

So far, I learned that just because we planned it doesn't mean that we will have it.

Sometimes things will not go as planned, but it still doesn't mean that we can't achieve it. It might not happen at the time we want, but if we keep our dreams alive and remain passionate about chasing them, we will eventually have them.

Honestly, I have several goals for the rest of the year, and on Hive, I still haven't given up on growing my account to 1000HP this year.

It's one of my biggest goals; others include creating at least six pieces of content in a week and boosting my engagement level to five comments per day.
