Rainbow Six Siege: Ubisoft presents Operation Phantom Sight
Ubisoft has announced details of the content of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege for the second season of year 4. Operation Phantom Sight introduces a new Attacker and a new Defender, named Nokk and Warden respectively, as well as a complete remake of the Dostoevsky Café map, the high-class venue located in Moscow's heart.
Rainbow Six Siege will also be proposing new changes to the newly implemented Inverse Friend Fire, as well as updates to the store page and the Ranked playlist in Season 2 Year 4. The latest additions to Rainbow Six Siege Operators, Nokk and Warden's list will redefine how opponent information is gathered in the new season.
Armed with its FMG-9 and SIX12-SD, Nokk makes its way silently behind enemy lines, invisible to cameras such as drones, thanks to its sophisticated gadget Helicopter Presence Gear. Meanwhile, at a glance, Warden uses his Smart Glasses to gain an increased view, gaining better visibility in the smoke and flashing immunity while remaining motionless. Its M590A1 and MPX make it as good as it is and deny defense entry.
In addition to these two new recruits, players will be able to explore Café Dostoevskij's remake, which includes significant changes to the current map to open and diversify the gameplay: the first floor has been redesigned, while the second has seen new bombs positions.
Many other updates that improve gameplay opportunities are added to these changes. Other features to be introduced next season include additional updates to the Inverse Friend Fire based on data and community response, a revision of the Ranked playlist and a new in-game store format.
The Phantom Sight Test Server Operation will open on May 21. The Test Server is an alternative version of the Rainbow Six Siege by Tom Clancy that enables players to experience the gameplay features that are about to be introduced into the game. Players are advised through the R6 Fix platform to report problems they encounter on the Test Server. The Test Server is for PC only.
