Danza con amigos y compras [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? Por aquí todo muy pero muy bien, gracias a Dios, descansando en casita, esperando la llegada muy pronto de mi nuevo sobrino; luego les estaré contando.

El día de hoy paso para compartirles un momento bastante bonito pasé antiel cuando fui un momento de escape a ver unas cosas en el Sambil Margarita con unos amigos y de repente me encuentro con semejante celebración, pues se celebra el Día de la Danza y varios equipazos se reunieron para rendir homenajes a su día, entre ellos Danzcorp, el cual es una academia que a mí en lo personal me gusta muchísimo porque bailan de todos los géneros y aquí en la isla son una academia bastante reconocida.

Hello, how are you all, friends? Everything’s going really, really well here, thank goodness. I’m relaxing at home, waiting for my new nephew to arrive very soon; I’ll let you know how it goes.

Today I’m popping in to share a lovely moment I had the day before yesterday when I popped out for a bit to check out a few things at Sambil Margarita with some friends, and suddenly I came across quite the celebration, as it was Dance Day and several fantastic dance groups had gathered to pay tribute to the occasion, including Danzcorp, which is a dance school I personally love because they dance all genres and are quite well-known here on the island.

Yo me quede un super rato viendolos y quería ver bailar a una danza que estaban vestidos como el rey león super bellos pero yo llegue muy tarde y ya habían bailado,demásdemas chicos también tenian vestuarios diferentes lo cual para mi es bueno porque aunque nuestra raiz esnacionalista y estamos acostumbrados es a ver trajes de faldas largas es bueno verlo asi también de este modo porque de eso se trata la danza de disfrutarla y vivirla en todos los ámbitos, yo cuando niña quize pero no habían tantas oportunidades y danzas como ahora.

I spent ages watching them and I wanted to see a dance where they were dressed as The Lion King – they looked absolutely stunning – but I arrived far too late and they’d already performed, What’s more, the other boys were also wearing different costumes, which I think is great because, although our roots are traditional and we’re used to seeing costumes with long skirts, it’s good to see it this way too, because that’s what dance is all about: enjoying it and experiencing it in all its forms. When I was a child, I wanted to, but there weren’t as many opportunities or dances as there are now.

Pero mi principal razón de ir a Sambil fue a ver unos zapatos que nos gustaron mucho; esa realmente fue mi razón. No sabía que estarían las danzas, pero me entretuve en ello, me gustó mucho. En cuanto a las zapatillas, realmente hay bellezas, solo que no quise como tal meterme aún porque estaba viendo otras cosillas poco a poco porque ya se acerca mi día especial y ando muy emocionada, de verdad que sí. Pronto les muestro más visitas. ¡Saludos!

But the main reason I went to Sambil was to look at some shoes we really liked; that was actually the reason. I didn’t know there’d be dancing, but I enjoyed it; I really liked it. As for the shoes, there are some real beauties, but I didn’t want to get too carried away just yet because I’m looking at other bits and pieces bit by bit – my big day is coming up and I’m really excited, I really am.
