A manipulation, a sly net

A tactic used, to control and pursue.

It's the guilt trip, the ultimatum
The "if you loved me" or the "you owe me"
It's the manipulation, the emotional plea
The "I'll hurt myself" or "I'll leave"

It's a game, a power play
A way to control and sway
But know this, it's not love
It's a form of emotional abuse

Stand up, speak out
Don't be a victim, have no doubt
You deserve to be treated with respect
