The Seven Planetary Metals
Good day dear Hive friends, I hope you all have a Saturday that was full of positive experiences and you are doing well! In this post, I would like to talk about alchemy and hope you can expand your knowledge.
The seven planetary metals are seven metals that have been assigned to their own planets since ancient times and it was believed that each planet ruled over a certain metal and pictures of copper, pewter and silver can be seen here. Also in medicine, the 7 metals play a important role and in medicine by the doctor and alchemist Paracelsus it plays a huge role and in the right dosage it could show many positive properties on the body and some elixirs or tinctures were made of metals and one of the best known is probably Autum Potabile which was also made of gold and from the 16th century. These planetary metals have also often been associated with the mythology of different cultures and gold is associated with the sun, silver with the moon, Mercury with mercury, Venus with copper, Mars with iron, Jupiter with tin and lead with Saturn. These seven planets are also connected to the different days of the week and here you can of course also find the connection between alchemy as well as as astrology and also from a spiritual point of view, these seven metals were of great importance and were assigned to their own meanings.
Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about alchemy! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens!
