Levitation in Ancient Cultures
Hey dear Hive community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to nine contributions and hope you had a day that brought one or the other positive experience into your life! In my new post, I would like to address an interesting topic and hope you can expand your knowledge.
Here are some artworks that I have created with artificial intelligence and are supposed to bring the phenomenon of levitation a little closer, which is also referred to as a supernatural ability to make objects float and that without aids and there are different types of it. The word was originally derived from the Latin of the word levitas which means so much as lightness and one can also distinguish from different types as the magnetic, the acoustic as well as the optical levitation and the magnetic levitation describes with the help of magnets to make objects float while the acoustic levitation is based on ultrasonic fields and optical levitation is about making objects to float with the help of laser technology and sometimes it is also distinguished from others. In the past, people spoke of mental, physical or spiritual levitations and in old cultures traces of people who mastered this ability appear again and again and it is also part of old Buddhist teachings to reach higher levels of consciousness through spiritual practices such as meditation and in this context levitation also appears often and yoga was also shaped by it. Towards the end of the Middle Ages, more and more reports on the topic appeared in Europe and the fascination about this grew more and more and most reports at that time came from England where the curiosity about levitation particularly grew, but also in other European countries there were more and more reports of witnesses who saw how other people carried out this ability and often it was also associated with occultism. Some nobles were also interested in it and devoted themselves to levitation and also many influential personalities from ancient epochs devoted themselves to it and in the modern era the topic was increasingly studied and research in this area increasingly expanded and often brought in connection with other interesting topics such as free energy and to this day levitation is an important topic.
Many thanks for taking the time to read through my post and I hope you like it and can learn something new about this interesting topic!
