Cute hedgehog 🦔
Today we decided to sit and eat lunch in our gazebo outside.
At first it was sunny, but then the sun hid and it became cloudy. We were about to go inside. But then we saw a hedgehog 🦔
He ran past us. He must have been going to the strawberry patch, but there were no ripe strawberries there. He ran toward the exit. I went to take a photo. It seemed impossible to get a photo, since hedgehogs hide when they sense danger, curling up into a ball of needles. But this hedgehog turned out to be brave; he didn't even hide when I approached him for a photo. He just stared.
I know that some people are used to giving milk, but that's not a good idea. Giving milk to a hedgehog can upset his stomach. It's better to give him kefir. You can also give him apples, strawberries, or something else. Hedgehogs are also hunters; they catch mice and snakes.
I used to think hedgehogs only ate fruit. But it turns out they're also hunters.
The hedgehog is very cute. He waited a long time for me to take a photo. Then I gave him a cracker, but he didn't want to eat it; he tried to curl up and show off his quills for a bit. Then I walked away, and the hedgehog ran off where he'd planned to go.
