Cotoneaster horizontalis.
Cotoneaster horizontalis.
I took these photos earlier and am sending them to you. I'll write a little about this cotoneaster. Cotoneaster is not a small shrub. It's very popular here. It can be found in many places. It's often planted for its beauty and for landscaping.
Its berries are red, small, and plentiful.
This bush isn't picky. The main care is watering. Although it is drought-resistant, don't overdo it; watering is best.
The berries of this bush are red and black. They are edible, but not very tasty. It is often added to tea. Infusions are also made.
But don't confuse cotoneaster with dogwood. Dogwood is very tasty raw and very flighty. Cotoneaster can be added to tea or made into compote.
