Zapfic50 - “Fishermen”
The manatee was waving at him. The older fishermen said this day would come. He knew they were serious but he had hoped he could last at least a few more years. Sadly, it wouldn't be long before the manatees began to sing. Time to head back to shore. Forever.
I had 49 words of a very different story written but I deleted every single one. I don't know if you guys are ready for some super depressing nonfiction on that topic right now.
