My Motto
I want to build into others a passion to do something greater than they had planned
Before my life hit a surprising full-reset button I attended a book study group. One of our topics of discussion was to develop a motto for our lives. It inspired me, and here I am with one.
I Want To
First and foremost it was important to pursue things that matter to me. Doing things out of obligation is something that often played a large role and I have rapidly steered away from that. Of course there are still many things that I must do, but I choose to prioritize these things consciously instead of them happening to me.
Build Into Others
I've always been a caring person, perhaps often too caring, but for me the results are worth it. The goal is for others to feel like they are not alone, that they are valued. That there is someone who hears them. The stories I've heard have changed me for the better and I hope sharing their experiences with me has benefited them as well. I might be placing just one small stone in the life they are building but I hope it is a beneficial one.
A Passion to Do Something
Passion moves us. It changes us. I hope the way I live my life and share love and care inspires others to also chase life.
Greater Than They Had Planned
We all have our expectations of where life will take us, where we want life to take us. Sometimes that works out. In my case it largely hasn't. Yet I'm still here doing things that once terrified me. Things I once judged harshly I have learned to move towards with love and compassion. I hope everyone on their journey through life finds inspiration to take on bigger goals and higher dreams then they ever thought possible.
