Expression Scribbles Esp/Eng
I went about two months without my notebook or my oil pastels; I accidentally left them at a friend’s house and only got them back a few days ago. It was perfect timing because lately, I’ve felt an intense need to express myself, and my notebook, though a mess, is where I let a lot of things out.
Recently, something triggered memories of a performative interpretation that really affected me, and I spent a few days –a short time, but intense– feeling down. So I decided to express a bit of that darkness through these oil pastel scribbles.
I needed to drain some of what that performance stirred up in me, and I left it on the page. I’d need more time to process, but this was the short result I created. Hope you like it.
