Newbies task 5, canvas trainings.

Hi guys, welcome yo my blog and welcometo my blog and welcome to newbies task week 5, I am happy to be at your mist and also a part of this task. Out meeting Star ed on Sunday around 8pm, and our tutor was Hive account@olujay, he talked much on how to design thumbnails using canvas app. Here are the tasks.

Number 1. With your understanding, explain what you understand by "thumbnail." Hence, discuss why they have to be stunning and of important it is to create content.

Thumbnails are pictures or images that summarizes the topic of a post or piece of content. People should be able to easily understand what your post is all about by just looking at the thumbnail you created.

Thumbnail has the power to attract more readers to your post or turn them off, it is based on how you produce them. It is what sells your post to people in other to engage, it is very essential as a writer or blogger on Hive blockchain, and also make sure that your thumbnail matches the content of your post.

Number 2. What are the dimensions of creating thumbnails? What is the general size (or dimensions) for a thumbnail, and explain why it is so.

Our tutor Hive account@olujay talked about his preferred dimension which is the YouTube thumbnail on Canva and the dimension is 1280 x 720 px he also mentioned that this dimension is the standard dimension for thumbnails and if you use another dimension it is possible for our thumbnail to come out squeeze.

For this task, make two thumbnails. Use one as the main, and provide the other in the post. Both images should be different yet relevant to the post. Hence, provide a step-by-step explanation of how you achieve each.

I made this thumbnail for this task and I am going to be showing you exactly how I did it.
Let's start from getting the app. You can either download the app or send it from anyone who have it. After downloing it , click on it and also note that canva app uses data.

When you have entered canva, you will see a place at the top where you see search, click on it and search for thumbnails,

Then pick anyone of your choice,

After that, start by editing it, I started from changing the picture to my own picture, I did it by clicking on the picture and clicking on reset

It will then take you to a place where you will choose any picture of your choice.

Then I also changed the writings to what I want by clicking on it and also clicking on edit,

After that, I saved it by clicking on the arrow at the top and saving it.
