The bartenders or bartenders know how to combine drinks to make cocktails, they know the flavors of different alcohols and their graduations. They know how to prepare different kinds of specialty coffees and they know all kinds of details of how a bar works. In general, a bartender knows and masters behavioral protocols and in upscale venues he uses exquisite manners in dealing with customers. In tourist areas they can speak more than one language or even several. A bartender has at least one assistant in charge. A bartender has a cocktail book and cocktail equipment at her workplace.
